​Balazs created a series that is best described as Queen's Gambit in the hacker world, with producer Tzachi Cohen, based on the life of notorious cyber criminal Guy Sheetrit.

​He is working on a Cold War spy thriller set in the world of the East German Romeo agents during the '68 Paris riots with BAFTA nominated director of The Girl with a Pearl Earring, Peter Webber for Trinica Entertainment. 

​He's producing an animated series called Tales of Awesome, the brainchild of legendary EDM DJ Shane54.

​He had spent the summer of 2021 running a new comedy series, produced by Paprika Studios for Markiza in Slovakia. It had recently premiered in pole position at the ratings. 

​Balazs created and wrote the pilot for Codeword:Rubicon, the story behind the CIA and the BND's largest scandal to date, where they eavesdropped on 40% of the world's encrypted communications for over four decades through a front company they co-owned. The series is co-produced by C-Films and Sagafilm for Swiss Television.

He's the creator of The Middlemen for MME and Sagafilm, a series based on the true story of a Mossad-KGB double agent in the Cold War and deals with the on-the-ground wheelers and dealers of how history is made. 

He wrote the pilot for Sentinel, hailing from Golden Globe-winning producer Gareth Wiley, executive producer Kjartan Thordarson and Academy Award-winning director Stefan Ruzowitzky, the story of an SAS soldier turned spy in Sierra Leone in 1998.

He wrote a podcast based on bestselling author Ben Mezrich's Once Upon a Time in Russia for Ratpac Entertainment and Glickmania. 


​Balazs is working with The Witcher creator, Tomek Baginski and DJ Talbot on a new series called Détente, set in Poland during the Nixon era and goes behind the scenes of international diplomacy, revealing how famed secretary of state Henry Kissinger had devised a daring plan to ease tension between the Soviet Union and America by playing the Russians against the Chinese.
